Charlie Hickman is the lead pastor of 3D Community Church,

a congregation dedicated to making church come alive.

With a dynamic vision, Charlie seeks to create an engaging

and authentic environment where everyone feels welcome.

Before founding 3D Community Church, Charlie served as a

vocational instructor at Central Carolina Community College,

where he taught construction trades to inmates, empowering

them with valuable skills for a fresh start. Additionally, he has

experience as a high school bricklaying teacher, demonstrating

his commitment to education and mentorship.

Crystal Hickman serves as the associate pastor of 3D Community

Church. She brings a strong academic background to her role, holding an

Associate Degree in marketing and a Bachelor's Degree in business. Her expertise in these areas support the church's mission and operations. Crystal acted as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Central Carolina Hospital. Crystals passion for ministry is evident in her dedication to

fostering an inclusive church community alongside her husband.

 

Charlie and Crystal both were born and raised in Sanford, NC and have been married for 25 years and are the proud parents of two children. Together, they planted 3D Community Church in 2016, serving the Lee and Harnett areas of Sanford, NC. Their shared passion is to cultivate an environment where "No Perfect People Are Allowed" embracing authenticity within the church.
